Pattern making is an important aspect of learning garment construction. Pattern making is not something which is required only before the execution of a product but is equally essential post the production. If you find certain issues with the final product, drafting methods will help you identify and fix those shortcomings with ease.
As an aspiring or a professional designer, stylist or enthusiast must be familiar with the different tools, terminologies, techniques, and other essentials of drafting. Crucially, an individual must know the purpose of drafting. This includes having sound knowledge of tools required for drafting to learn how to take measurements to drafting a variety of garments.
