Hello! My name is Darren Lau, design mentor and product designer, I want to welcome you to Dora Essentials.
We’re going to dive into this wonderful new design tool called Dora, and with it, create some incredible-looking website designs. We’ll learn everything you need to learn to start WOWing your new clients and companies using Dora.
We’ll use this incredible new AI tool to create beautiful-looking homepages with engaging 3D assets. On top of everything, we’ll see why this new tool will completely eclipse other design/website platforms like Figma, Framer, Webflow, and others.
This course is specifically made for people who are new to design, new to website design, but want to get started on owning their own brand and client work. Even if you don’t know how to build a website, don’t worry. I will start right at the beginning with you and work through each new tool, step by step.
We’re gonna walk through the whole interface
Then we’ll start playing around with all the simple tools
We’ll edit all the basic layer details
Figuring out good typography and fonts
We’ll start layering on different effects
You’ll learn how to create components
We’ll figure out the constraint system together!
We’ll dive into Keyframes animation and you’ll understand how easy it all really is!
We’ll explore 3D assets and see how to animate them live on a website!
Before the end of all these lessons and this course, you’ll have a strong grasp on the next era of websites and how to design them in a way that feels easy and intuitive.
We’ll work on example class projects together with client briefs and you’ll see how fun it is to play around with keyframe animations and 3D —
