In the following Photoshop course we will colorise digitally a hand drawn car.
You can find my pencil drawing as reference attachment. / Or feel free to use your own sketch!
We will work with the pen tool mostly in Photoshop, using shapes with layer styles as well.
I will show you my tips of how to create car paint look with its reflections.
In this course we will use many layers to get better result.
Structure of the course:
Preparing the reference picture / Use the pencil drawing, that I made for extra material.
Define the body of the car with vector shapes in Photoshop. Also define the main colours.
Drawing the windows, lamps, bumpers, seats, etc.
We will add matte paint to our digital car.
Adding reflections and realistic metal paint look.
Finally the scene will get some atmospheric brights and glow.
In this course finally you will able to create a full digital art according with a pencil drawing!
With my method you can create metal and shiny look in Photoshop. With some extra effects like glows,
your art will be much cooler!
