Hello and welcome to my course « A beginner’s guide to color theory »! I am extremely happy to have you here. If you want to renovate or redecorate your home, you want to feel more comfortable and happier at your home by using colors or you just want to educate yourself in the interior design chromatics field, then YOU are the right student for my course. No worries, there is no previous experience needed.
I’ve started the journey in the interior design field 6 years ago and started teaching interior design more than 2 years ago on Kajabi. My instagram page balnak(dot)design reached more than 52.000 followers in less than two years. As for now, more than 2000+ students on different platforms enrolled my course and I am highly grateful for each student I’ve had the chance to teach some valuable information. For your information, the course comprises of the following lectures:
• Learn about the color theory & the color wheel, the warm, cool and neutral colors but also some must-follow rules for creating an interior design scheme.
• Understand the most important color characteristics such as hue, lightness, shade, tint, tones & saturation.
• Get acquainted with the most important color rules and principles (accent color and 60-30-10 color rule).
• Choose and/or create the perfect color scheme for your home (less and most used color schemes).
• Learn about what to consider when choosing the right color, in which rooms to use warm/cool colors, black, white and neutral color but also about the do’s and don’ts of balancing warm and cool colors.
• Use the psychology of color to create the perfect mood in your home
• Learn about the colors based on room type (living room, kitchen, dining room, study room, bedroom and bathroom).
• Learn about which colors to use based on room direction (north-facing, east-facing, south-facing, west-facing).
• Enlarge or diminish a room with the help of colors.
• Understand the impact colors can have on your psyche.
The course it’s designed for beginners and not only, it provides to you valuable information that can be applied anywhere.
